Coffee tables
Here at Satoshi Yamauchi Woodworks, we have been making furniture for 18 years. Coffee table is one type of furniture we custom build, besides dining tables, beds and tv stands/media consoles. We are heavily influenced by traditional Japanese woodworking principles but also take on contemporary designs. We hope you enjoy seeing our coffee table examples. Some of our coffee tables are a combination of the natural edge of the tree with other materials such as metal or resin. Our local live edge slabs include koa wood, monkeypod, mango and sometimes earpod. If you are looking for a specific species, feel free to get in touch with us to inquire. We don’t just do live edge slab tables. If you are looking for a minimalist look, we are very happy to work with other wood such as American walnut, white oak, beech, maple and so on.
Here’s our most recent creation. A matching coffee table and end table with secret drawers.
