Monkeypod slab coffee table 126
This coffee table was made from a single piece of monkeypod slab. Consistently wide slabs that have clean live edges are sought after and somewhat hard to find. The edges of the slab top was rounded to give a soft natural look. Although this coffee table base was made from dimensional (straight) monkeypod lumber, we have sculpted the edges to give it a natural look and compliment the live edge top.
Monkeypod slab coffee table 127
This coffee table was made from a single piece of monkeypod slab that was cut horizontally instead of the usual vertical cut. Such a cut is often referred to as cross cut slabs or simple “cookies” as we call it in our trade.
