Matching coffee table and media console
Here is a couple of monkeypod furniture pieces we recently built for a newly built home. We used premium quality quarter sawn monkeypod wood. The coffee table features four square legs, placed at the corners so that it can be used as a chabudai table whilst sitting on the floor, Japanese style. The height also allows for the coffee table to be used as a regular coffee table while sitting on the sofa. The matching media console was designed with two sliding doors. One edge of the door frame was recessed slightly to act as a handle.
