Monkeypod bar height table

This bar height table was made using a monkeypod slab and walnut wood for the base. It is 41" high, 55" wide, and 15" deep. A compact bar table for the kitchen.

Custom office furniture and counters made on Oahu

This is our latest project where we worked for a local office in downtown Honolulu replacing an existing laminate counter with a live edge monkeypod countertop and building a matching coffee table.

Counters and reception desks are some of what we make here at Satoshi Yamauchi Woodworks. Most of cabinetry work is made of plywood due to its quality to stay flat. Many of customers choose to go for stone countertops or live edge slab countertops.

Monkeypod slab counters

Here is a pair of monkeypod slab counters we custom built for an office in downtown Honolulu. These monkeypod slabs showcase beautiful ribbon grains and live edge. The long counter measured just over 10 feet and the smaller counter a little over 3 feet at a thickness of 1-3/4″.

Monkeypod vanity

This is our monkeypod x white lacquer vanity. We decided to keep the rounded end of the monkeypod slab to keep its natural beauty. This particular monkeypod slab was salvaged from a property in the North Shore on Oahu.
