Custom dining table chair

Here is our latest custom dining table chair we designed and built with a local artist. It is built out of sapele wood, a very stable hardwood from Africa. The legs, the back and the spindles were stained to a dark brown shade to give a contrasting aesthetics.

The hand sculpted seat adds a handcrafted touch to this exquisite chair. The angle and the height of the back, as well as the seat were carefully thought in order to create an ergonomically comfortable chair.

The design was inspired by George Nakashima’s work. He was one of the greatest furniture makers of the 20th century.

Did you know?
