Bookmatched walnut table with ebony butterflies

This is our custom monkeypod vanity built for a home in Diamond Head. It is an open style vanity made of local hawaiian monkyepod wood. The continuous grain running across horizontally catches the viewer’s attention. The countertop is also made of monkeypod wood. Highly figured monkeypod table

Here is a highly figured monkeypod dining table with feather crotch features is a one-of-a-kind sable made locally in Kakaako, Honolulu. The slab was salvaged locally too, making this an extremely environmentally-friendly piece of furniture. This special slab top was matched with mid century walnut legs. Its compact size, being 52″ long and 30″ wide, is perfect for condo living. The whole table has been finished with clear coat satin varnish.

Wood console table with stainless steel base

Inspired by modern Italian design, this console table features Hawaiian monkeypod wood with natural curves, sitting on a stainless steel flat bar base. The monkeypod comes from the north shore area on Oahu. One long edge has been shaped with curves to give it a warm and natural feel. The base is somewhat sharp and stylish with modern design.

Monkey pod side table

This 25″ high monkeypod side table can be used as a plant table or a lamp table. It features a monkeypod top and three walnut turned legs. Made in Honolulu by Satoshi Yamauchi. Satin clear lacquered for added protection. The legs are attached at an angle using metal inserts for durability.
