A bookmatched walnut slab dining table featuring ebony butterfly joints. This table showcases beautiful Japanese joinery. The table top is made of bookmatched claro walnut slabs from the state of Oregon. The base design is a replica of the famous George Nakashima’s Conoid Table. Towards the end of last year we delivered a dining table of ours. It was made of solid wood local Hawaiian monkey pod featuring natural live edges. The clean sap wood boasts shades of light yellow colors, at the same time showcasing subtle curves. The monkeypod top is made up of two slabs from the very same monkey pod tree grown in Hawaii.
