Wood coffee table

Here is a selection of photos of a coffee table we recently made for a client on Oahu. It features salvaged monkeypod wood for the table top and a very sturdy stainless steel base. All locally handmade in Kakaako, Honolulu. The wood surface has been coated with satin lacquer for water proof protection. With all of our furniture, we carefully select beautiful wood grain patterns to highlight throughout the furniture piece.

Custom bed made of local Monkey pod wood

Here is a selection of our handcrafted monkeypod beds that we recently made for a client on Oahu. Both of these wood beds are made of salvaged monkeypod wood. These are king size bed frames with two freestanding night stands. The headboard showcases natural curves, inspired by Hawaii’s beautiful Koolau Mountains. Monkeypod desks

We just delivered three custom office desks. The desks are made of mahogany and monkeypod.  Featuring filing cabinets and monkeypod desk top, this custom desk makes a great addition to any Hawaiiana office. The drawers feature soft close drawer rails and the surfaces have been finished with lacquer varnish. Hawaiian wood waterfall bench

Here is our waterfall bench made of local hawaiian wood, known as monkeypod. The continuous grain flows beautifully from one leg to the other. We kept the natural edges of the monkeypod slab for a dynamic design. The shelves are made of oak, finished with black lacquer. This handcrafted bench compliments a contemporary home very nicely.

Short video of Satoshi in the shop

We uploaded a video of Satoshi working in the shop, making a white oak bench. This custom made bench has a waterfall effect, in that the grain is continuous from the bottom of the leg to the other end of the leg. Same goes for the matching oak table he made for the very same client. Enjoy the video!
