Hotel furniture is just one of the types of furnitures we make, here at Satoshi Yamauchi Woodworks. Monkeypod table with metal base

Some more photos of our recent monkeypod dining table with a y design metal base. This table features North Shore born Hawaiian monkeypod wood for the top and extra durable steel construction base. This table is finished in a natural satin lacquer. Size shown in this photo is 40″ wide 80″ long and 30″ high. Custom size, base options and finishes are available. Birch table with white metal legs

Here is our recent retail display table made of birch wood matched with white metal hairpin legs. The table top was matte lacquer coated for a contemporary feel. This store is located in the South Shore Market in Ward Village (Cameron Hawaii). Hair pin legs are great as they are economical, usually available to purchase online, and most importantly looks nice against the wood.

Staining an oak table

We have been busy staining our latest oak dining table top. Here are before and after photos. Made entirely of solid white oak, Satoshi has fabricated the surface to make it look distressed and rustic. Each plank has a few layers to create a naturally old set of reclaimed wood. They have been stained, tinted and glazed over and over. This dining table top will be matched with matte black metal legs.
