Mid century danish style dining table

Satoshi Yamauchi just finished working on this custom made mid century Danish style dining table. It features angled legs and a curved semi elliptical shape table top.  Mid century style turned legs are attached at an angle. The clear lacquer finish is hard wearing and water & stain resistant.  This table comes in three parts, very easily assembled.

A little bit about mid century furniture:
Mid century danish design refers to the vintage style of minimalist wood funiture from Denmark. With designers such as Hans Wegner, Finn Juhl, and Arne Jacobsen, the Danish furniture industry flourished from the 1940s and through the 1960s. The mid century furniture designs focus more on design and form than just function.

A little bit about walnut wood:
Walnut is a fairly straight-grained wood that ranges from chocolate brown to yellow sapwood (from the outer part of the tree) in color. A great choice for dining table, bed frame, and headboards. Can be stained to a darker color for richness. Walnut is a very strong and stable wood. The color and grain are beautiful. When sapwood and outer wood glued together, it creates a contrasting color scheme.
